Shipping & Delivery
1. Do you ship internationally?
Yes — India Rare delivers worldwide to all countries with which India has diplomatic relations.
2. Is shipping free, or are there extra charges?
Shipping cost depends on the destination and type of order. Some destinations/orders may qualify for free or discounted shipping. All costs will be clearly shown at checkout—no hidden fees.
3. Do I need to deal with customs paperwork?
No. We handle all export documentation and customs formalities from India. Your order will be delivered to your door, just like a domestic shipment.
4. What carriers do you use for shipping?
We partner with reliable international couriers (such as DHL, UPS, FedEx) for large orders or urgent delivery. Smaller orders may be shipped via registered air mail or equivalent services.
5. How long does delivery take?
Orders are processed and shipped within 2 business days (excluding weekends & holidays).
Typical delivery times:
- USA, Europe, Australia: about 4–7 business days once shipped
- Asia, Middle East: about 3–6 business days
- Less urgent/smaller shipments: up to 10–20 days, depending on courier & customs
6. Are shipments insured?
Yes. All packages are insured against loss or damage in transit. If something goes wrong, contact us and we’ll assist you with a claim.
Orders & Products
1. How do I place an order?
- Browse our collection at India Rare.
- Pick the product(s) you want, and click Add to Cart.
- Go to Checkout, fill in your shipping & payment details.
- Review your order and submit. You will receive a confirmation email with order details shortly.
2. How can I track my order?
Once shipped via tracked courier, you will receive a tracking number by email. Use it on the courier’s website to follow your package. For untracked mail (if used), we’ll share as much information as possible.
3. Can I cancel or modify my order?
Yes, you may cancel or modify the order before it has shipped. Once shipment begins, changes may not be possible. Please contact our support team immediately for assistance.
4. What if a product is out of stock or sold out?
If a product is sold or out of stock, you can request to be notified if it becomes available again. Some pieces are one-of-a-kind; duplicates may not always be possible.
Returns, Replacement & Refunds
1. What is your return/exchange policy?
- Requests for replacement or returns must be made within 7 days of delivery.
- Products must be unused, in original condition and packaging.
- We will inspect return items, and then process a replacement or refund.
2. How soon will I receive my refund or replacement?
Refunds typically appear in your original payment method within 1–2 billing cycles after we receive and approve the return. Replacements are shipped as soon as possible once we process your request.
Product Authenticity & Uniqueness
1. Are your products originals or prints/replicas?
All artworks and craft items at India Rare are authentic — handmade by artisans, designers, or craftspeople. If there are prints or reproductions, that will be clearly stated.
2. Do you deal in antiques?
No. We do not sell any items that are more than 100 years old (or otherwise restricted by law). What appear as “antiquated” are modern works created or finished to emulate a traditional or aged look.
3. Can I commission or request custom work?
Yes. If you have a special requirement — a subject, size, or custom design — send us your details via our contact form. We’ll let you know whether we can accommodate it and provide lead times and pricing.
Payments & Currency
1. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, etc.), online payment gateways, and international wire transfers where applicable. Local payment methods may also be available depending on your country.
2. In which currency are prices shown?
Prices are shown in your local currency (auto-converted) or in USD/INR depending on our website settings. At checkout, your final total will be displayed in your chosen/available currency.
Privacy & Other Policies
1. Will you share my contact information?
No. We treat your privacy with utmost importance. We do not share your personal contact information with any third party unless required by law or for fulfilling your order (e.g. courier).
2. Do you offer gift wrapping or special packaging?
Yes — gift wrapping is available upon request. We ensure all items are properly packed to protect against damage during transit.
3. Can I use your images on my site or publication?
All product images and website visuals are the property of India Rare. If you wish to use any image, please contact us for permission.
